Grandma's Breakfast Casserole

BreakfastIngredients
- 8 oz cooked sausage eggs
- 1 ½ C. milk
- ¾ tsp. dry mustard
- 2 ½ cup shredded cheese
- Dash of Onion Salt or Dehydrated Onions
- Bread Slices
- 1 can cream of __________* soup
- It is also possible to add the soup mixture the night before
- Shepherd Pie

Grease an 8 ½ x 11 pan. Mix egg, milk, mustard, onion salt. Then mix in sausage and Cheese. Line pan bottom with bread, and pour egg mixture over. Refrigerate overnight.

In the Morning: Mix 1 can cream soup and ¼ C. milk (generous) Pour over the top

Bake for 1 hour, 15 minutes at 300º

Mom’s varation: Cover for the first hour of cooking, then take the top off for the last 15 minutes.

*Can be cream soup of any kind (mushroom, celry, chicken) Grandma always used cream of Mushroom soup, but whatever you have will be fine.

Brown Hamburger and drain. Add corn or green beans, 2 small cans of tomato sauce, Cumin, oregano, garlic salt, pepper, thyme, and salt (sliced olives if desired). Simmer and pour into a casserole dish. Cover with mashed potatoes or tater tots.
