- 20 lb turkey
- Dad's Delicious Turkey Stuffing(See Side Dishes)

Thaw turkey several days early in refrigerator. Wash and remove neck & giblets from both body and cavities. Stuff neck cavity first with stuffing and use skewer to hold skin flap tight. Then stuff abdominal cavity. Put in covered roaster pan upside down(breast side is down). Cook at 325o for about 5 hrs. Check temperature at thigh or check pop-up timer to see if done. Remove from pan and use droppings for gravy. Let cool for 1/2 hour before carving. Remove stuffing before slicing. NOTE: Cooking the turkey upside down allows it to self baste and keeps the white meat more moist & tender.
