Dad's Sunday Pot Roast

Ingredients

• 1 t MSG(optional)
• 1 large onion
• 2 lb carrots
• 2 tsp salt
• ½ tsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp pepper

   Put roast in covered roaster. Add spices. Cut onion in half and put on top of roast. Put carrots alongside roast in pan. Cover and cook for 3-4 hrs. at 325o.
