- 1 ½ C All-purpose flour
- 1 t Baking powder
- ½ C Unsalted butter
- 2 cup white sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 ½ t Vanilla Extract
- 1 C Milk
- 8 oz Sweetened condensed milk
- 6 oz Evaporated Milk
- 1 ½ C Heavy whipping cream
- Aebleskiver
- 4 cup Bisquick
- 1 cup buttermilk & 2 cups milk, or 3 cups milk
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 eggs
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350o. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- 2
Sift flour and baking powder together and set aside. Cream the butter and 1 cip of the sugar together until fluffy. Add the eggs and ½ teaspoon of the vanilla. Beat well. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, 2 tablespoons at a time, mixing well until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
- 3
When cake has finished baking, pierce it in 8-10 places with a fork or skewer. Let cool. Combine the whole milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk. Pour over the top of the cooled cake. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- 4
Whipped Cream Topping: When ready to serve, combine the whipping cream and the remaining 1 teaspoon of vanilla and 1 cup of sugar, whipping until thick. Spread over top of cake.
- 5
Note: because of the milk in the cake, it is very important that you keep the cake refrigerated until ready to serve. Serve chilled.
- 6
*Note: You must have a special Aebleskiver pan.
- 7
Beat all ingredients with an electric mixer. When the pan is hot, brush each hole with oil. Fill each hole ¾ full of batter. Gradually turn 3-4 times with a turner (metal knitting needle works well) until it is shaped like a ball. Keep turning so they brown evenly. Bake thoroughly. Knitting needle will come out clean when the Aebleskiver is done. Serve with sugar, jelly, or butter and syrup.
