Vanilla Refrigerator Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup softened butter or marg.
• 3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 eggs
• ½ cup finely chopped nuts
• 1 ½ tsp vanilla

   Mix thoroughly butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, and nuts. Divide dough into 3 equal parts shape each part into roll 1 1/2" in diameter and about 7 inches long. Wrap. Chill at least 4 hours. Heat oven to 400. Cut rolls into 1/4" slices. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Immediately remove from the baking sheet.
