Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients
- 2 cup sugar 6 Tbsp our 2 tsp grated orange rind 4 cups rhubarb, cut into 1inch pieces and rmly packed 2 Tbsp butter Pastr y for 2 crust pie Milk Sugar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 450�.

Mix sugar, our, and orange rind together.

Add rhubarb.

Place in pie shell and dot with butter.

Cover with top crust that has a design cut in for venting.

Lightly brush milk over top of crust.

Sprinkle evenly with sugar.

Bake for 10 minutes at 450�, then lower to 350� for 40 to 45 minutes more.

The red narrow-stalk rhubarb makes a nicer pie.

Don't skimp on the orange rind!
