Flour Tortillas

Ingredients
- 4 cup all-pur pose our 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tsp baking powder 2 tablespoons lard 1� cups water
Instructions

Wisk the our, salt, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.

Mix the lard with your ngers until the our resembles cornmeal.

Add the water and mix until the dough comes together.

Place on a lightly oured surface and knead a few minutes until smooth and elastic.

Rest 5 minutes.

Divide the dough into 24 equal parts and roll each one into a ball.

Use a rolling pin to make a thin tortilla.

Place on a hot skillet and cook until bubbly and golden, ip and make golden on other side as well.

Place cooked tortillas in a tortilla warmer and continue rolling and cooking with the remaining dough.
